Welcome to my web site.
I'm Bruce Hiscock and my books are mostly about nature. As a
kid I spent a lot of time outdoors, and a lot of time drawing,
too. Now I write about animals, trees, rocks, storms, and all
the other amazing things I see. Some of my stories, like The
Big Tree, are set close to my home in the Adirondack Mts. of
New York State. In other books you can travel with me to the
arctic tundra or the desert, as I go adventuring with sketch
book in hand.
NEW- I have added a page, Buy Bruce's Books, that will
enable you to purchase my books online. I hope that this will
make it easier to obtain my works, some of which may not be available
in your local bookstore.

programs in schools, libraries, and conferences. Just click
